Recently, I had the opportunity to document the same-sex marriage of Daniel and Michael at the Tsakopoulos Library Galleria in downtown, Sacramento. This was the first of its kind for me as a wedding photographer, and I have to say, it was not weird at all. In fact, it was the opposite. It was beautiful! Since they legalized same-sex marriages in California, it never really occurred to me that I can shoot one. Thanks to Daniel and Michael, I did! Their wedding had the movie UP theme and was quite whimsical. I really enjoyed doing their wedding, and in the process, I solidified my belief that love is love no matter who it’s between. Who are we to judge and tell someone they can’t marry the one they love? Thank you Daniel and Michael for having me at your wedding! It was definitely an experience I won’t forget and will repeat should the opportunity rises again! Congratulations!
A big thank you to all these people that made the day possible. If you were a vendor for this wedding, please contact me so that I can give you credit.
