I don’t second shoot often, but when I do, I find myself really enjoying it! I get to shoot things that I normally wouldn’t get that much time to shoot as a first photographer. I get to be more of an observer and shoot from the sideline; finding angles that the main photographer wouldn’t able to see. Best of all, I can take the time to sharpen my skills and try knew ways to shoot! For this particular wedding of Johnny and Ling, I once again shot with Kaboo of Kaboo Photography. It’s always a pleasure doing weddings with her and it’s always fun!
The wedding was a traditional western style Chinese wedding. It started out with Johnny picking up the bride from her home early in the morning. Before he could do that, though, he had to play some games at the front door that her bridesmaids and female friends made up. In return, he paid them with red envelops filled with money and played the games until they were satisfied enough to let him claim his bride. A tea ceremony was also done with their families. The reception was held at King Palace. It was a great evening and Johnny and Ling was an awesome couple to work with. Check out a few images from the wedding below.
